Its a shame this steamer is prone to breakage, considering its so good. The people in Argos know me now as i've replaced this steamer 3 times since i've bought it!! I've since decided to take extra care of my next one, in the hopes that it'll last longer. Some people find this steam breaks before it even starts, and others use it for years - and it seems simply a matter of which batch you get! Heres a few suggestions on how to care for your Steamer:

• Use Deionised water in it - so far this seems to stop it spluttering randomly, and breaking from getting clogged up.

• Dont re-fill it until it really HAS cooled down - I did this a few times cos im impatient, and im sure its not a good idea!

• Dont use it when the red warming up light is on.

• Fill it a few mm short of the maximum fill line, just incase!

• Dont leave it full of water, use it until its all gone or pour it back out.
