zaahndreads.co.uk is a small dread making business run by me, zaahn. I have been making synthetic dreads since 2003, have been selling since 2005, selling online since the beginning of 2006, and opened this website in March 2007.
Dread are the perfect way to change your look for as long as you like, and theres no limit to the different styles and combinations you can have.
All my dreads are made from the finest quality 100% kanekalon fiber and are backcombed and steam sealed by hand. I DO NOT sell manufactured dreads!
Each dread is tested for durability, and I offer a free re-sealing service if required. My dreads are sleek and shiny in style and firmly sealed. For more information about the look and feel of my dreads please refer to the customer gallery for pictures.
Dread falls are mounted onto stretchy lace and are double layered for extra coverage. You get a total of 30DEs (or 60SEs on request) when purchasing dread falls.
Dread kits can be as big or small are you wish. The average number of dreads in a dread kit is 50DEs and this is generally enough for a full install for someone with average thickness hair. Please enquire if you are unsure how many you would need.
Dreads come in a number of styles. Solid and candycane dreads are included as standard with any kit. Special requests such as harlequins, transitionals, mixed or 'natural/messy' dreads, please ask for a quote.
I am also able to make dreads from UV reactive hair upon request.
Turnaround times vary (and you will be quoted a turnaround before payment is made), but it is generally 3-4 weeks not including shipping time.
